Sabbath and Hellhammer as they do to the metaphysics of Mulla Sadra, Suhrawardi’s philosophy of illumination and the alchemy of Al-Ghazali. With their commitment to huge, gnarly guitar and bass tones, thundering drums, and vocals that range from demonic screams to angelic cleans, Bog Oak create a heavy brew of mystical dirges and forsaken atmospheres.
